This bootcamp will provide you with comprehensive materials to help you become familiar with how to navigate your way through your networking career. Gain knowledge on installing, configuring and troubleshooting networks to help get you certified as an IT professional.

The bootcamp gives you a convenient and flexible hands-on learning experience. Typically, class will be five 8-hour days Monday through Friday, for a total of 40 clock hours.

Having additional education and knowledge allows an individual to make a larger impact and often be more successful. Some employers require specific certifications to be hired for a position. Obtaining certifications will give you an extra edge in in-demand industries.

Network Support Specialist
Analyze, troubleshoot, evaluate, and maintain an organization’s networks to keep them safe and secure.

Network Administrator
Install, maintain, diagnose, repair, and manage backup systems for networks.

Network Engineer
Build, design, and deploy communication networks. Analyze network traffic and predict future growth.

Help Desk Technician
Diagnose and solve computer issues, install new technologies, maintain operating systems, and communicate with a team or clients.

Systems Engineer
Determine the requirements that the system needs and document any specifications for the design or installation. Provide assistance with development and consider implementation of any upgrades and monitor systems to detect potential problems.

The price of the certification exam is included in the cost of the bootcamp. The first exam should be taken within 60 days of completing the bootcamp.

WTI will pay for one retake if the individual meets the requirements:
If the student fails the first attempt, he/she may request a retake voucher from the campus director. The retake voucher must be used within 180 days of completion of the bootcamp.

How to Prepare

You already completed Step 1, by deciding to take the next step towards improving your future. The next step is to complete the short form on this page. Lastly, we will contact you to help you finish the enrollment process.

Students enrolled in the bootcamp will need to provide their own laptop and access to broadband internet.

During Bootcamp

A bootcamp is a fast-paced course that allows an individual in the field to quickly get started with the certification process.

Finishing Up

As you work with your practice tests and complete your study guides, you will then have the confidence to schedule your certification exam.

An individual has the choice of taking their exam at any WTI campus or online through Pearson Vue.

Once you have successfully completed the bootcamp, you will receive a certificate of completion from Wichita Technical Institute.
